Hebert, Arlene Marie (Marriage - 14 Apr. 1945)
Arlene Marie Hebert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hebert, and Ralph J. Will, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Will, were united in marriage at a ceremony performed at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby on Saturday morning, April 14th, at 9:30 A.M., Rev. Frances J. Bienkowski officiating. Virgean Hebert, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Doris Will and Mrs. Zona Edblom, sister of the groom. The groom was attended by his two brothers and a brother of the bride - Neland Will, Donald Will and Ward Hebert.
The bride was attired in a gown of white brocaded flowers on white ninon with train and buttoned to the waist in back. Seed pearls trimmed front and sweetheart neckline. Her bouquet consisted of pink carnations. The maid of honor wore a dress of blue net, Doris Will a dress of yellow net and Mrs. Edblom a dress of pink net, all three dresses being made alike. All three attendants also wore wrist corsages of carnations and daisies. Mothers were dressed in black and had showers of white and pink carnations.
A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hebert at Marshfield, the home being nicely decorated in pink, white, blue and yellow streamers. A wedding table was centered with a three-deck wedding cake. Fifty guests were served dinner.
The groom is a graduate of Colby, Wis. High School, class of 1942, and the bride is a graduate of Unity, Wis. High School, class of 1943. The groom is working on a farm west of Colby and Mrs. Will is working at the Spencer State Bank where she has been employed for the past two years and will continue to work there.
