Dolan, Ruth Helen (Marriage - 22 Nov. 1945)

Miss Ruth Helen Dolan, daughter of Peter J. Dolan of Abbotsford, became the bride of Darrel N. Bobbe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Bobbe of Abbotsford, in a nuptial ceremony read in St. Bernard’s rectory at Abbotsford at 4:00 o’clock P.M. Thursday, Nov. 22, Thanksgiving Day, Rev. Francis J. Brockman officiating. Attendants were Miss Vangel Bobbe of Wausau, sister of the groom, and Jack Nickolay, of Madison.

The bride was attired in a black velvet frock trimmed with ermine and a matching beret. Her attendant wore a black and fuchsia ensemble. Both had gardenia corsages.

Following the ceremony, a six o’clock dinner was served the bridal party at Medford.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of the Abbotsford, Wis. High School. Mr. Bobbe had been granted a discharge from military service after five years of service. The bride is a graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing at Wausau. They will reside in Abbotsford, Wis.

Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dolan of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Urquardt of Bruce, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell LaBelle of Arpin and Miss Jean Clark.
