Herman, Louise (16 JUL 1940)
Mr. Clyde Misfeldt, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Misfeldt of the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Louise Herman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Herman of this village, were married at St. Bernard’s Church here on Tuesday morning at eight o’clock, the ceremony being performed by Rev. A.M. Muckerheide.
The bride wore a white silk chiffon trimmed gown with alencon lace and a long train. Her long veil was held in place by a coronet of pearls and she carried a bouquet of white roses.
The maid of honor, Mrs. Robert Pease of Madison, and the bridesmaid, Mrs. F. Kowieski of Chicago, both sisters of the bride, were dressed in green dotted Swiss. They carried nosegays of roses and daisies.
The groom was attended by Robert Herman and Galen Misfeldt.
Both the bride and groom are graduates of Thorp High School and Mrs. Misfeldt has taught in the grade schools here for the past seven years.
They left early Tuesday for Portage, where the bride’s mother is in the hospital there recovering from injuries received in an auto accident. After a short honeymoon they will return to Thorp to reside, the groom being employed at the Farmers Co-op Station. Their many friends join in wishing them many years of happiness.
