Gunsior, John (13 JUN 1922 - 11 JUL 1940)
John Gunsior, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gunsior of Gilman, died Thursday, July 11th, 1940 at the Memorial Hospital, Wausau, of skull fracture and concussion of the brain, sustained when a tree fell on him while working in the woods near Rib Lake, Wis. He was employed by the Rib Lake Lumber Co.
The deceased was born at Pulaski, Wis., on June 13, 1922. He leaves to mourn his untimely demise, his parents, one brother, Anthony, of Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. Julia Tomczak of Thorp.
Funeral services were held at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church at Gilman, Saturday morning at ten o’clock, Father W. Kolman officiating, and interment taking place in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Roman, Leon and Mike Czaplinski, Walter Luzenski, Edmond Greneiwski and Stanley Liezenski.
