Judy A. Garbisch
GRANTON -- Judy Ann Garbisch, 66, of Granton, died Thursday, March 16, 2006, at her home after a courageous 13-year battle with cancer.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2006, at the Zion Lutheran-Missouri Synod Church in Granton. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville and from noon to service time Monday at the church.
She was born Aug. 19, 1939, in Menomonie to Frank and Marie (Sweeney) Plummer. On March 29, 1958, she was united in marriage to Rueben Garbisch at the Lutheran Church in Pittsville. She then helped her husband on the farm and raised her family. She also worked as a nurse's aide at the Bethel Convalescent Center in Arpin and later for Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Eventually she worked her way up to Unit Clerk before retiring in 1975.
She is survived by her husband, Rueben; five children, LuAnn (Ron) Solberg of Tomahawk, James (Jodi Koepp) Garbisch of Marshfield, Robert (Debbie) Garbisch of Loyal, Tammy (Gary) Anderson of Sister Bay and Tommy (Christine) Garbisch of Granton; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
