Lola Eloranta

Lola Eloranta, 77, Owen, died Thursday, March 23, 2006, at her residence.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, Wis.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

She was born Dec. 31, 1928, in Granton to Arno and Nina (Stoker) Winter. She married George Eloranta on Oct. 29, 1949, in Granton.

She is survived by her husband, George Eloranta, Owen; children, Gary (Bev) Eloranta, River Falls; Wayne (Joan) Eloranta, Owen; Dennis Eloranta, Owen; Marlene (Ali) Nahavandi, Cottage Grove; Janet (Dick) Henning, Elk Mound; Rita (Tim) Kaine, New Richmond; Sarah (Dale) Kitlica, Owen; 21 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Lorraine Porath, Owen; Ethel (Glen) Raplinger, De Pere; and a brother, Richard (Cathy) Winter, Granton.

Maurina/Community Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
