Merle Winchell

Merle Winchell, 91, Merrill, formerly of Dorchester, died Thursday, March 30, 2006, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, at Peace United Church of Christ, Dorchester, Wis.

Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Maurina Funeral Home.

She was born July 13, 1914, in Stetsonville.

Merle Winchell

Merle M. Winchell, 91, Merrill, formerly of Dorchester, died Thursday, March 30, 2006, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Peace United Church of Christ, Dorchester, Wis. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Maurina Funeral Home, Dorchester, Wis.

He was born July 23, 1914, in Stetsonville. He retired from working as a clerk at stores in Merrill.

He is survived by two daughters, Marion (Lavern) Yorde, Merrill, and Doris Schmidt, Merrill; 10 grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren.
