Curtiss, Wis. - July 19, 1945
Miss Minnie Thompson returned home on Sunday to spend her vacation with her sisters, the Misses Clara and Alma Thompson.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Laabs spent several days last week with the former’s sister, Mrs. George Pease, and sons at Wisconsin Rapids.
Lionel Schiszik of Chicago is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Felix Schiszik, of Hoard.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stockmeyer and daughter, Nancy of LaCrosse, and Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Bartell and children of Milwaukee are spending a short vacation with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Stockmeyer.
Mrs. J. E. Dimpson of Sturgeon Bay arrived here on Saturday to visit her sister, Mrs. Frank Matthias, and family and other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester King and family and Mrs. Farley of LaCrosse visited with Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Bakke for several days last week.
Miss Marge Weberg returned to her home at Ogema on Monday after having spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Peterson.
Miss Myrtle Hoff left on Monday for a week’s stay at a Lutheran Bible camp at Lake Hatley.
