Longwood, Wis. - July 13, 1881

V. R. Mead is on the sick list.

F. J. Sheldon has purchased a mower and sulky rake.

Misses Una and Amy Smith visited friends at Lynn, Wisconsin this week.

Haying is at hand, help is scarce. Farmers are offering $1.50 per day and board.

An agreeable surprise was given to G. G. Ruel at the shingle mill last Friday night, by the Longwoodites. Music was furnished by Mead’s Band.
