Haying will be about finished this week. The crop is the largest known in this county.
Miss Cap. G. Drake wields the blue beech in this district, again. School commenced Monday.
W. H. Mead started a crew of men turnpiking in the town of Thorp, on Monday last.
School commenced in the Warner district Tuesday. Miss Una Smith, of this place, teacher.
Tom Sullivan has bought of Chris. Glenzer the blacksmith shop he occupies and a small plat of ground surrounding it.
