Unity, Wis. - Mar. 1, 1882
A. H. McCabe, N. C. Ransom, A. Petrie, A. Cook, Ed Pettet, and J. K. Horn visited the Odd Fellows, at Greenwood, last Saturday night.
Mr. Gallagher of Madison, is visiting his daughter, Mrs. J. W. Salter.
Will Douglas, the brother of Mrs. Bowden, spent a day last week with his father and sister in this place.
Mrs. Hogle, of Medford, the sister of the Mess. Petersons, is visiting numerous friends and relatives in Unity, Wis.
Elder Barker still continues to hold protracted meetings in the church. He delivered two very excellent sermons here Sunday; one in the morning and one in the evening to a large congregation.
Chas. Swift, of Dakota, was in town last week the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Bowden.
A number of the friends of Miss Maggie Rensimer, "surprised" her at the residence of her father last Friday night. Miss Rensimer is going to Ashland soon, and the party was gotten up as a sort of farewell.
Some of the young people enjoyed a social hop at Mr. A. Cook’s the eve of the 22nd.
Miss Dell Rensimer is home; her term of school closed last Friday.
