A muley horse with a bob-tail, at Alfred Cook’s you’ll find for sale.

S. J. Scott came down from Ashland last week, to visit friends in this vicinity.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Butler are in the southern part of the state visiting his parents.

Owing to the improved condition on the "sick pig," we are again enabled to wield our newsy pen.

Mr. Wm. Chapman and his sister Mrs. Fields, started for Ohio on a visit the fore part of last week.

Mr. J. N. Johnson is again with us. We understand that he will move his family to Coolidge in about two weeks.

B. F. Stone, a popular and enterprising young merchant from Thorpe, was in the village a few hours last Wednesday.

Miss Mary Ormes, after a vacation of six weeks, went back to Dorchester Saturday, to open another term of school.

The home of D. F. Britton, in the southern part of the village, was glorified Saturday morning, the 31st ult., by the arrival of - yes it was a 10 lb. boy.
