Dorchester, Wis. - May 20, 1885
House cleaning in operation.
"Standard" Soap cheap at LaBossier’s.
A. F. Jensen went to Colby, Saturday.
E. H. Winchester went to Medford, Saturday, to look at the fire.
Frank Hobson called on this town again, Saturday.
Miss Bertha Ruhmer went to Sheboygan, Monday. Will visit her sister and other relatives while there.
Miss Ida Lansworth is teaching 7 ½ miles west of this place. She walks from her school every Friday. Oh, the grit of the school ma’ams.
Dan Miltimore, brother of Miltimore Bros., arrived from Los Angeles, Cal., Wednesday. He is just the same old Dan.
Decoration Day is the chief talk of the town, and a grand good time is anticipated by all at Medford, one week from Saturday. Our post has no music, but they will be there with their stars and stripes to fill the ranks.
Mrs. Wm. Neef presented her husband with a - well it is a girl and a happier man there never was than Will. The mother and child are doing nicely.
August Hoft, of the town of Holton, fell from a lumber pile, at Prentice, Thursday, breaking both arms, one twice, and badly injuring himself in other places.
