Fred Cook drove up to Colby, Thursday.
A good many drummers in town recently.
G. J. Salter was down from Colby Tuesday.
Mrs. Jos. Rensimer visited in Colby, Tuesday.
W. H. Bartell, of Colby, was in town, Wednesday.
A. E. Ransom, an Oregon news boy, is stopping in town.
W. J. Packard, of Stevens Point, was in town Friday.
Miss Marion Burton went to Neillsville, last week, to visit her brother.
Will Pettet has secured his position of chief cook and bottle washer at the Pettet House.
John Drake came down from Boyd, Friday, and made himself at "home" for a day or two.
Ed Weeks came up from Stevens Point, Saturday, to look after the log driving on the Eau Pleine.
J. P. Drake came down from Boyd, last week, and together with his wife, visited old friends a few days.
Mrs. B. B. Aersie, of Winnebago county, Minn., is visiting her brother, W. J. Hubbard, of this place.
Mrs. Clark Cain left Friday, for Sheboygan Co., to join her husband, who has been there since spring.
Mrs. L. F. Whitmore and daughters Lola and Alma returned, Friday, from an extended visit at Princeton, this state.
