Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kliefoth of Abbotsford, Wisconsin received the Purple Heart medal awarded posthumously to their son, Pvt. Dale Kliefoth, age 20, who was killed in action in France on July 29th. Pvt. Kliefoth had been overseas since May, 1944.
