Henthorn, Mr./Mrs. J. O. (Divorce - 17 July 1945)
J. O. Henthorn, represented in circuit court in Neillsville on July 17, that he had lived in the same house with his wife for 20 years without enjoying relationship as her husband. He was granted an absolute divorce.
The Henthorns were married in 1901 and have resided in Abbotsford, Wis. They lived as husband and wife at first, and had three children, all of whom are now adults. About 20 years ago, Mrs. Henthorn refused to have anything further to do with her husband. They lived separately in the same house for two decades. Finally, in October, 1943, she moved the furniture out of the house and has since divided her time between Abbotsford and Janesville.
Mr. Henthorn represented to the court that his wife has perversely worked against him, trying to get him employed to do menial work, reduce his pay and even to fire him *** Note: The rest of the article was cut off and not available at the time of transcription.
