Peterson, Lorrin (1925? - 28 Apr. 1945)
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Peterson received a message from the war department on Tuesday telling them that their son, Electricians Mate 3rd Class Lorrin Peterson was killed in action on April 28th somewhere in the Pacific. Lorrin was a graduate of the Owen High School, class of 1943. He received his boot training at Great Lakes and studied in an electrical school at St. Louis, Mo., before going overseas. He is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Peterson, who have two older sons overseas. The fourth son, Arlyn, received a medical discharge last November after recovering from wounds received in action in Germany.
