Fleming, Bruce Thomas (25 Aug. 1879 - 20 July 1945)
The Odd Fellows had charge of funeral services and burial rites July 23 at Waupun for Bruce Thomas Fleming, 65, a former resident of Unity, who died July 20 at Clark and Swartz Hospital at Waupun, following an operation. Burial was made at Jefferson.
Mr. Fleming was in the real estate and insurance business the past two years, and before that was employed by the State for 18 years. Prior to this he had made his home in Unity, Wis.
He was born at Jefferson August 25, 1879, and was married June 10, 1903, to Stella Hake, who survives with five children: Mrs. Bert C. (Bevis) Brown, Waupun; Mrs. Harry (Hazel) Sterken, Gary, Ind.; Mrs. Don C. Lazaron, Chicago; and Misses Gladys and Frances at home. A son, Frank, died in Unity, Wis.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. George Jerome, West Allis, and Mrs. Carrie Miller, Jefferson and four grandchildren.
He was a member of the Methodist church and Odd Fellows.
