Domer, Marvin E. (1 Sept. 1922 - 3 Oct. 1945)
Mr. and Mrs. William Domer of Unity, Wis., have been informed by the War Department of the death of their son, Pfc. Marvin E. Domer, 23, on October 3rd, while he was stationed in Italy.
Pvt. Domer was born Sept. 1st, 1922, in Unity, attended the grade school there, and was graduated from Unity, Wis. High School in 1940. Before entering military service in June, 1944, he was employed at the Kasper cheese factory and the Riplinger box factory.
In November, 1944, he spent a furlough at home, and the following month went overseas, landing in Italy.
Surviving besides his parents are a brother, Orville, at home; three sisters, Miss Oamona Domer, employed in Marshfield, and Mrs. Robt. (Lila) Burke and Mrs. Richard (Merle) Colby, both of Milwaukee; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Schultz of Loyal.
