Ed Bartik, a former manager of the O. & N. Lumber yard in Colby, was killed Monday when the car he was driving collided with a truck. Mr. Bartik was returning to his home in Plainfield, Wis., after taking his wife to Milwaukee to visit her sister, Tessie, and, apparently was alone at the time.
Funeral services will be held at the Plainfield Catholic church Friday morning at 10:00 o’clock and internment will be made in the Colby cemetery and burial services are expected to be held at about 3:00 P.M.
