NEILLLSVILLE -- Margaret Hrasky of Waukesha, formerly of Neillsville, died Sunday, April 2, 2006.

Funeral services for Margaret will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 6, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wis. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Margaret E. Hrasky

NEILLSVILLE -- Margaret Elizabeth Hrasky, 99, of Waukesha, died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at the Waukesha Springs Nursing Home in Waukesha.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wis. Interment was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born May 12, 1906, in Terre Haute, Ind., to Frank and Etta (King) Ruddick. On May 30, 1937, she was united in marriage to William John Hrasky in Neillsville, Wis. He preceded her in death.

She began working as a nurse's aide at the Neillsville Hospital. Later, she went to Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield and earned her certification as a lab and X-ray technician. She then returned to Neillsville and eventually became a physician's assistant. She retired in 1975 and moved to Waukesha in 1995.

She is survived by one son, Franklin (Edris) Hrasky of Watertown; one daughter, Carol (Lonnie) Kuhn of Atoka, Tenn.; one granddaughter, one stepgrandchild, two great-grandsons and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
