Abbotsford, Wis. -- Nancy Margaret Cukla, 56, of Abbotsford died Thursday, April 13, 2006, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2006, at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford, Wis. Burial will be in Alma Center Cemetery. Her nieces and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home.
Nancy was born Feb. 9, 1950, in Eau Claire to William and Helen (Bell) Giloy. She was raised on the family farm and then moved to Greenwood, Wisconsin. She worked for ODC in Marshfield. Nancy and David Cukla were married Aug. 28, 1992, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood, Wisconsin. They then moved to Abbotsford, Wis. She enjoyed traveling, cats, her nieces and nephews and taking photographs. Family and friends knew her as loving and caring and had a gift of spontaneous laughter.
She loved to sing. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Humbird.
Nancy is survived by her husband, David Cukla of Abbotsford; one sister, Sharon (Ralph Prindle) Lang of Humbird; one sister-in-law, Bernadette (Clayton) Aumann of Green Bay; her nieces and nephews, Colleen (Tim) Davis of Marshfield, Adam (Tina) Rauch of Stratford, Monica (Craig) Vesey of Danvers, Mass., KaSandra (John) Justman of Spencer, Emberly (Jody) Miller of Raleigh, N.C., and Nathaniel (Angie) Lang of Marshfield; and her caregiver, Nancy Schmitt.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
