Sally Tadda
Family bade a sad farewell to Sally Tadda, 58 years young, who died at her Owen home Wednesday, April 19, 2006, in the arms of her husband.
Feisty, friendly and fearless, Sally enjoyed life and projected a positive attitude to everyone she met. In March, Sally and Terry received the Aquaculture Hall of Fame Winton Award "for a lifetime of sustained and distinguished service to Wisconsin aquaculture" for their Poplar River Fish Farm, Owen, Wis.
When not seining or taking children fishing, Sally was the dedicated secretary of the Clark County Farm Bureau and an active member of the Republican Women's Committee and Wisconsin Women for Agriculture.
Energetic, loving and giving, she is greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her mother, Rhoda Small, Abbotsford; her husband of 40 years, Terry Tadda, Owen; son, Fred Priekschat, and his wife, Lori, Spencer; son, Mark Priekschat, and his wife, Jennifer, Withee; grandchildren, Erica Priekschat, Laura and Josh Krause and great-grandson, Samuel Schillinger; sister, Barb (husband Carl) Ward, Arkansas; and brother, Dick (wife Mary) Small, Florida.
Cremation occurred through the Cremation Society of Wisconsin.
A memorial service will take place at 5 p.m. April 29, 2006, at Green Grove Town Hall, located just west of Atwood.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Terry Tadda, W3902 Sandy Lane, Owen, to help with costs incurred in Sally's battle with cancer.
