Jaskot, Estelle (24 AUG 1940)
A very pretty wedding was solemnized Saturday, Aug. 24th, 1940, at Good Shepherd Church in Chicago, Ill., at five o’clock when Miss Estelle Jaskot, daughter of Mrs. Sophie Jaskot of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Edward Duch, son of Mrs. Valeria Duch of Chicago, Rev. Anthony Maslowski performed the ceremony.
The bride was beautifully attired in a gown of white French marquisette with a long train. She carried a bouquet of white roses, baby breath and orchid.
Frank Krempa being the best man with Miss Helen Jaskot, sister of the bride, as first bridesmaid. Miss Eleanore Jaskot was maid of honor.
Another attending couple was Ben Szymanski and Miss Claire Plotke, cousin of the groom.
The bridesmaids and maid of honor wore aqua marine dresses in Frank marquisette with tiaras to match and carried waterfall bouquets of yellow roses.
The groom and his attendants wore tuxedos.
After the ceremony a reception was held at Blaha’s Hall, Cicero, Ill.
The couple will make their home in Chicago, where the groom is employed as an optician at Marshall Field Co.
The guests from Thorp were: Mrs. Sophie Jaskot and daughter Eleanore, and Frank Kroll.
