Miller, Laura (14 MAR 1928)
The marriage of Miss Laura Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Miller, and Mr. Guy Richmond, son of Mrs. H. Richmond, took place at the bride’s home on Wednesday, March 14 at two o’clock, Rev. O. J. Vriesen officiating.
The couple was attended by Miss Selma Miller, the bride’s sister, and Ewald Schwarze. Relatives and friends attended and stayed for the celebration in the evening.
Both young people are well and favorably known in this vicinity and their many friends join the Gleaner in extending congratulations and best wishes.
They will make their home with the bride’s parents.
Memories
I remember that Guy Richmond lost an eye at some point and from then on, he always wore a patch, like a pirate. Stan Schwarze (son of Ewald).
