Greiner, Edward (1854? - MAR 1928)
Edward Greiner, 73, was found dead in bed at his home in Marshfield Saturday. Mrs. Greiner returned home from Stanley Saturday afternoon from a week’s visit with a sick sister, and was shocked to find that her husband, who was in apparent good health when she left, had died during her absence. Death was attributed to heart disease, and in the opinion of a physician had occurred the early part of last week.
Edward Greiner was born in the township of Theresa, Dodge County, 73 years ago, where he received his education and engaged in farming until 22 years ago when he moved to a farm southeast of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), where he lived until he moved to Marshfield eight years ago.
The funeral was held from St. John’s Catholic Church at Marshfield at 9:00 o’clock Tuesday morning.
