CHARLES W. KENSON, furniture and undertaker, Alma Center, Wisconsin was born April 4, 1836, in New York State; came West, with his parents, in 1847, and settled in Dodge Co., Wis., where his father bought a farm of 240 acres. He then came, with his parents, to Jackson County, where he worked on a farm for his father for a time, and afterward for himself. In 1877, started a hardware store at Alma Center, which he sold out to E. A. Miller. In 1877, commenced his present business. Has been a member of Town Board for two terms, on the anti-license ticket.
