Lee, Mildred M. #3 (18 OCT 1913 - 7 DEC 2007)

Mildred M. "Millie" Lee, 94, Chili, died on Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at Marshfield Care Center. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 10, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Chili. The Rev. Ralph Nagle officiated. Char Drescher was the pianist for congregational singing. Burial was ion Emmanuel United Church Cemetery, town of Fremont. Pallbearers were grandsons, Rusty Kim, Terry, Douglas and Scott Lee, and Richard Thomas, David and Steven Dix. Honorary pallbearers were Merle Rose, Bruce Hanson, and Kent Eibergen.

Mildred M. Nebel was born on Oct. 18, 1913, in the town of Fremont, to Henry and Ida (nee Lindow) Nebel. She married Marion J, Lee on Sept. 27, 1932, in Chili. He died on June 21, 1997. They farmed in the town of Fremont. She was an active member of Immanuel United Methodist Church where she served as Sunday school teacher and a vacation Bible school teacher. She also served on many committees, and at the present time was secretary of the United Women. She also served as the church historian, was a member of the Chili Senior Citizens, had been a 4-H leader for many years, and enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Mesa, Ariz.

Survivors include a daughter, Connie (Lawrence) Dix Jr., Chili; two sons, James (Rochelle) Lee, Cadott, and Dennis (Diane) Lee, Stratford; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
