Behring, Anna (Marriage - 12 Feb. 1918)
PRETTY WEDDING AT THE J.F. KRASIN HOME
The home of J. F. Krasin was the scene of a quiet but pretty wedding Tuesday afternoon, when David Braatz of Glenata, Montata, and Miss Anna Behring of Dorchester were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. L. Th. Thom, pastor of Immanuel's Lutheran church, the hour of the ceremony being 4 o'clock, following which a wedding repast was served.
Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Krasin, brother-in-law and sister of the groom, were witnesses.
The home was tastefully decorated with carnations, ferns, and smilax, the color scheme of which was pink and white. The bride was attired in a dark blue suit, wore a hat to match and carried a bouquet of carnations, ferns and smilax.
Both of the contracting parties are highly esteemed young people and have hosts of friends, with whom the NEWS joins in congratulations and well-wishes. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Braatz, formerly of Athens, who moved to Glentana a few years ago. She is the daughter of Mrs. Carl Behring of Dorchester, Wis.
The newlyweds plan to stay here about a month, after which they will go to Glenata to go housekeeping on the groom's farm.
Out of town guests present were Mrs. Carl Behring, Dorchester; Mrs. William Tretanier of Eau Claire, a cousin of the bride, and Miss Ruth Braatz of Ashland, a cousin of the groom.
