In a ceremony performed at Woodstock, Ill., Miss Lily Cass of Highland Park, Ill., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cass of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Arne Laakso of Waukegan, Ill., son of Mr. and Mrs. Salmon Laakso of Owen, Saturday, Nov. 9, 1940.
Miss Cass wore a brown wool ensemble and a corsage of yellow roses for the occasion. Her maid of honor, Miss Martha Laakso, sister of the groom, was attired in blue and wore yellow roses. Edward Cass, brother of the bride, attended the bridegroom.
The dinner party at the Karcher Hotel followed the nuptial ceremony. The young couple plan to live in Waukegan and have the sincere wishes for a pleasant wedded life from their many friends in this community.
