Krueger, Edward (21 May 1937 - 5 Dec. 2007)

Edward Krueger, 70, Medford, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at his residence.

Funeral services were held Dec. 8 at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, where military rites were performed. Hospice Chaplin David Clements presided. Cremainal internment will take place at a later date in Medford Evergreen II Cemetery.

Edward was born May 21, 1937 in Hartford and attended Hartford area schools.

He served in the US Army as a marksman from 1957-1959 and was stationed in Korea. After his time in the service, Edward worked at a foundry in the Waukesha/Hartford area for one year.

Edward married Dianne Ludwig in Medford on August 27, 1960. He and Dianne then moved to the Medford area and operated a bakery in the Stanley and Medford areas for a period of time. Diane preceded Edward in death on July 22, 1984.

Edward then married Lucille Guillaume-Gripentrog on Sep 27, 1986. Lucille survives.

Edward also worked for Weather Shield Manufacturing in Medford for a number of years and owned and operated Ed Krueger’s Lawn Crafts until the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Krueger, Medford; four daughters, Lori (Steve) Clarkson, Stetsonville, Terry (Bob) Rueden, Abbotsford, Kathy (Jeff) Shatwell, Medford and Cindy (Steve) Shannon, Rothschild; one step-daughters, Cindy Bruss, West Bend; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Lee (Pat) Krueger, NC, and Carrol (Pat) Krueger, Friendship.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Clara Baumann Krueger; one sister, Margaret Krueger; and one brother, Harry Krueger.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in his name to the family for a memorial to be designated at a later date.
