of their daughter, Marguerite Ann, to Joe M. Clapp, pharmacist mate, first class, of Latias, Texas. The ceremony was performed in the navy chapel on Treasure Island, Cal., at 5:15 in the afternoon of April 17th.

For the occasion the bride wore a light grey suit.

The bride, after graduation from the Abbotsford, Wis. High school, attended Central State Teachers College at Stevens Point and received her bachelors degree in education. While there she was active in band and glee club, a member of the student forum and of Sigma Tau Delta, a literary fraternity.

She enlisted in the WAVES and after serving a year and a half was honorably discharged March 9th, at Balboa Park, San Fransisco, a specialist (G) 2/C.

The young couple are living at San Fransisco where the groom is on shore duty.
