Johnson, Eleanore (Marriage - 1 May 1946)
Eleanor Johnson of Abbotsford and Frank Budde of Colby, route 2, were united in marriage on Wednesday morning, May 1st, at St. Bernard’s Catholic church, Rev. Francis Brockman reading the double ring ceremony at a nuptial high mass. Attendants were Miss Hanna Budde, sister of the groom, and Pvt. Lloyd Ringquist, brother of the bride, of Camp McCoy.
For the occasion, the bride was attired in a navy and copen ensemble of Bemberg crepe and a half hat of navy straw. Her corsage consisted of deep pink carnations. Miss Budde wore a frock of navy blue alpaca and navy accessories. Her corsage consisted of deep pink carnations.
At 11:30, a wedding dinner was served to close relatives at the Abbotsford Café. In the evening, a reception was held at Spencer at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Ringquist.
Mr. and Mrs. Budde are at home to their friends on the groom’s farm.
