Schumacher, Rita (Marriage - 28 May 1946)

Rita Schumacher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Gutenberger, and Gordon J. Pueshner, son of Mrs. Lucille Pueshner, exchanged marriage vows at St. Mary’s church at Colby Tuesday morning, May 28th, at 8:00 o’clock, Rev. N. B. Beschta reading the marriage ceremony.

The bride was attired in a blue linen suit with black accessories and her shoulder corsage consisted of spring flowers. Miss Pueshner wore a gold wool suit with white accessories and her corsage also consisted of spring flowers.

A reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents for immediate friends and relatives.

The groom graduated from the Dorchester High School with the class of 1941. He was recently discharged from the U.S. army after serving three years, one year being overseas. He is employed by the Western Condensery at Dorchester, Wis.

The bride graduated from Colby, Wis. High School in 1943.
