Shalek, Elsa (Marriage - 25 May 1946)
Miss Elsa Shalek of Cedar Park, Brown Lake, Wis., and Milton Gutenberger of Spring Prairie, Wis., formerly of Colby, were united in marriage Saturday evening, May 25, at the Cross Lutheran parsonage at Burlington, Wis., with Rev. Harry Rappath performing the ceremony.
The bride chose a red suit with red accessories and her corsage consisted of white carnations and lilly bells. As maid of honor, Mrs. Arthur Bender was attired in a blue suit and pink carnations made up her corsage. Arthur Bender served as best man. The other attendants were Miss Helen Eilers and George Hahn and Miss Marie Eilers and Rudy Schoelzel.
A late supper was served the bridal party at the Palm Gardens. The groom is employed in Burlington and the couple plan to make their home at Cedar Park.
