Brill, Delores (Marriage - 12 June 1946)
Miss Delores Brill, daughter of Mrs. Rose Brill, and Raymond Kiefer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kiefer, were united in marriage Wednesday, June 12, at St. Mary’s church in Colby, Rev. Arthur G. Dresen reading the marriage ceremony. Mrs. John Bailey was matron of honor and Mrs. Raymond Orth bridesmaid. The groom was attended by John Brill and best man and Raymond Orth as groomsman.
The bride was attired in a gown of white slipper satin with sweetheart neckline, full skirt with train of white net trimmed with large satin bows. Her bouquet consisted of lilies, roses, swansonia with shower of swansonia. Mrs. Bailey wore a dress of deep pink satin with full skirt of pink net over satin. Her wrist corsage consisted of deep pink and white carnations. Mrs. Orth wore a dress of deep skyblue satin with full net skirt over satin and her wrist corsage also consisted of deep pink and white carnations.
A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride which was decorated with pink, white and blue streamers and a large wedding cake centered the table.
After a wedding trip to western states and California, the couple will be at home after July 4th on the groom’s farm at Abbotsford, Wis.
