Beyerl, Margaret Ann (Marriage - 13 May 1946)

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beyerl, of Colby, announce the marriage of their daughter, Margaret Ann, to Edward Charnitz of Milwaukee. The wedding ceremony took place at the St. Mary’s Catholic church at Colby, on May 13, at a nuptial high mass read at 9 a.m. by the Rev. N. B. Beschta. I. M. Firnstahl sang "On This Day, O Beautiful Mother," and the children’s choir sang the responses to the mass.

The bride wore a white satin gown styled with a double overskirt of net sweeping into a long train. A wide lace ruffle edged the deep net yoke bordering the neckline and the long sleeves came to points over her wrists. Her finger-tip veil was bordered with lace and caught up to a beaded tiara. She carried lilies and gardenias.

Miss Gertrude Beyerl, a sister of the bride, in a pink ninon dress, was maid of honor. Miss Marie Beyerl, another sister, in a blue frock, served as bridesmaid.

Both carried roses and swansonia.

Paul Beyerl, the bride’s brother, and Harvey Anderson attended the groom. Jim Beyerl ushered.

Breakfast was served for the bridal party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Meyer and dinner and supper for 80 guests at the home of the bride’s parents.

Mrs. Charnitz was graduated from the Colby, Wis. High School with the class of 1940 and has been employed in Chicago. The groom served in the European theater of operations and is now discharged. They are living at 2534A N. 19th St., Milwaukee.
