Daellenbach, Margaret (Marriage - 12 Oct. 1946)
Miss Margaret Daellenbach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Daellenbach of Abbotsford, and Harold Papenfuss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Papenfuss of Abbotsford, were united in marriage Saturday, October 12, at 2:30 P.M. at the Christ Lutheran church at Abbotsford, Rev. F. H. Sprengler reading the marriage ceremony. The bride was attended by LaVern Hoffmann of Marathon, Wis., as maid of honor and Vangel Bobbe of Abbotsford as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Richard Ziebarth as best man and Richard Preller of Abbotsford, Wis.
The bride was attired in a gown of ivory brocaded satin with long train, shoulder length ivory veil, and bonnet styled headdress. She also wore a single strand of pearls, a gift of the groom. Her colonial style bouquet consisted of red and white roses with baby’s breath. The maid of honor wore an aqua formal gown (valverae), short sleeves and full skirt. Her colonial bouquet consisted of two shades of pink carnations with daisies. The bridesmaid wore a dress of pastel pink taffeta, short sleeves and full skirt. Her bouquet was similar to that of the maid of honor’s. Both attendants also wore gold snake chains and matching ear rings, gifts of the bride.
A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Daellenbach, which was decorated with ivory, aqua and pink streamers.
The couple left on a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and will be at home after October 16th at Abbotsford, Wis., where the groom is employed at the post office.
