Ebert, Inez J. (Marriage - 19 Oct. 1946)
Miss Inez J. Ebert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. F. Ebert, Jr., and Laurence Koffarnus of Abbotsford, exchanged marriage vows Saturday afternoon, October 19th, at the Zion Lutheran parsonage in Colby, Rev. O. Hoffmann reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Miss Lois Stock and Robert Ebert.
The bride was attired in a blueish-gray three-quarter length suit with brown and cherry-coke accessories. She also wore a bracelet and ring which her mother wore on her wedding day. Her corsage consisted of red roses, pompoms and carnations. Miss Stock wore a navy suit with navy blue and gray accessories and rhinestone ear rings, a gift of the bride. Her corsage was similar to that of the bride’s. The bride’s mother was attired in a black dress and matching accessories. Both mothers wore corsages of mixed flowers.
Dinner was served at Old Hiedelberg, Medford, and a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
The couple will be at home after October 22 at 202 Grand Ave., Wausau, Wis.
The bride is a graduate of Colby, Wis. High School and the Wausau Business School, and, for the past two years, has been employed as a general clerk at the D. J. Murray Mfg. Co., at Wausau, Wis. The groom served with the U.S. Marine Corps for three years and is now attending school under the G.I. bill of rights at Wausau.
