Sabler, Serena Helen (Marriage - 3 Nov. 1946)
Serena Helen Sabler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sabler, and Elroy V. Schade, son of Mrs. Bernard Schade, were united in marriage on Sunday, Nov. 3, at a candle light service at 3:30 P.M. at Zion Lutheran church at Colby, Rev. O. Hoffmann reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Mrs. Merlin Schjoneman and Everett Schade.
The bride was attired in a dark brown suit with white and brown accessories and her corsage consisted of red roses and white carnations. Her attendant wore a Kelly green suit with black and white accessories and her bouquet consisted of yellow roses and white pompoms.
A dinner was served 60 guests at the Zion Lutheran church parlors and a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
The couple left on a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and Canada and will be at home after Nov. 10th at the home of the bride’s parents.
The groom is employed by Krepsky & Neck.
