Virgil Frane and Wayne Davis left Monday on a fishing trip to Northern Wisconsin.
Mrs. Rose Oncken is spending several weeks with relatives in Madison and Milwaukee.
Mrs. R. H. Zillmann and daughter, Julie Ann, visited at the Ed Zillmann home Sunday.
O. W. Sturner left this Thursday morning for Wausau to attend a real estate brokers meeting.
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Schramm of Glencoe, Ill., are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Matt Orth and other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. D. Imhuff of Mingo Junction, Ohio, are visiting with the latter’s sister, Miss Mable Neumeister.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reeves, Sr., left for LaCrosse where they have entered St. Joseph’s home for the aged.
Rev. M. C. Goetsch and Rev. O. Hoffmann attended a pastorial conference at Rice Lake Tuesday and Wednesday.
Ed Graumann had the misfortune to crush his right hand when a bundle hit his hand while operating a corn binder.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jackson of Stevens Point visited Wednesday until Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Thede and friends.
Miss Mary Becker left for Madison last week Wednesday where she is studying for a nursing degree at the University of Wisconsin.
Mr. and Mrs. William F. Roth and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Dallmann and daughter, Marlene, spent several days fishing near Rhinelander.
Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Loos and daughter, Sandra, of Colby, and Dr. and Mrs. A. M. Christofferson of Waupaca spent several days at Cable.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lawson of Portsmouth, N.H., are visiting with the latter’s aunt, Miss Mable Neumeister, and, from here will go to California.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mandel of Gregory, S.D., are spending this week with the former’s brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Mandel.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bauer and son, Frank, attended the funeral of Mrs. Alvin Schuld of Marshfield Monday morning. Mr. Schuld is Mr. Bauer’s nephew.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zassenhaus, Jr., have moved from the Briggs apartment on Highway 13 to the upstairs rooms of the George Tesmer residence.
Victor Frane and son, Donald, and Mrs. Math Allar and daughter, Genevieve, who spent the past six weeks on the former’s farm in Montana, have returned to their homes.
