Curtiss, Wis. - Nov. 21, 1946

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Laabs and sons were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Cross at Marshfield.

Orlyn Peterson of Chicago spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Peterson.

A. M. Erickson spent Monday at Chicago on a business trip.

Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Hennlich spent Sunday at Wausau with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Hennlich.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Randall of Owen, Fred Randall of Eau Claire, Miss Anna B. Hanson of Wausau and Mrs. Norma Johnson of Abbotsford spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Machlett to celebrate her birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Lutz of Marshfield, visited on Sunday with their daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Herrick.

Mrs. Arthur Laabs, Mrs. Harry Laabs and Mrs. Fritz spent Friday at Eau Claire. Mrs. Arthur Laabs attended a workers’ conference of the W.M.S.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Peterson of Madison spent the week-end with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Peterson.

Miss Betty Leudtke, whose marriage to Delmer Augustine will be an event of this month, was honored at a pre-nuptial shower at the home of her sister and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. Utech at Curtiss Corners.

Mrs. Michael Novak returned home on Sunday from a ten day visit at Sheboygan.

R. Froland of Owen was host to the Lutheran Brotherhood on Thursday evening, Nov. 21st.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thompson entertained a party of friends at their home on Monday evening to celebrate the former’s birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Machlett were business callers in Neillsville Thursday.

Mrs. Lee Smiley entertained a party of young girls after school on Tuesday to celebrate her daughter, Kathleen’s ninth birthday anniversary.

Miss Beulah Brady of Herbster, Wis., called on friends here on last Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hall of Medford were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Smiley.
