Wilma L. Hofman
COLBY -- Wilma L. Hofman, 93, of Colby, Wisconsin, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at Colonial Center, Colby, Wis.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First United Church of Christ, Colby, Wis. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.
She was born April 1, 1914, in the town of Johnson, Marathon County, to Faith and Magdelina (Geiser) Hargraves. Wilma and Albert Hofman were married in October 1934. He preceded her in death. They farmed in the town of Hull from 1947 to 1976. She also worked as a nurse's aide at Saint Joseph's Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Karl Hofman of Colby, Robert (Melody) Hofman of Appleton, Faye (Gerald) Grasee of Oshkosh, and Helen (Frederick) Appleyard of Plainfield; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert (Gladys) Hargraves of Athens, Marvin (Marcella) Hargraves of Wausau and Clements (Joan) Hargraves of Stratford.
