COLBY -- Frederick A. Dins, 88, of Colby, Wisconsin, died Dec. 28, 2007, at Colonial Center in Colby, Wisconsin.
Maurina/Community Funeral Home in Colby is assisting the family with arrangements.

Frederick A. Dins
Frederick A. Dins, 88, of Colby died Friday, Dec. 28, at Colonial Center, Colby, Wisconsin.
Funeral services are at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, with the Rev. Mark Neumann officiating.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Burial is in Colby Memorial Cemetery, town of Colby, Wisconsin. Pallbearers are Rick Dins, Ron Dins, Warren Schauer, Ken Schauer, Robert Wickersham and John Weis.
Frederick was born March 26, 1919, in the town of Colby to Otto and Louise (Schuman) Dins. He married Etta Kozik June 17, 1950. Frederick farmed in the town of Colby until 1978, when he moved to the city of Colby, Wisconsin. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where he also served as a trustee. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and bowling.
Frederick was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, sister Adeline and brother Otto.
He is survived by sisters Bertha Schauer of Spencer and Dorothy Dins of Colby and brother Rudy Dins of Edgar.
Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church.
