Vivian L. Olson
Vivian L. Olson, 86, of Marshfield, Wisconsin, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at the House of the Dove, under the loving care of Ministry Hospice Services.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2007, at Hansen Funeral Home. The Rev. Donn Radde will officiate. Maldon Plank will provide music with Radde serving as soloist. Burial is in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Olson was born Jan. 21, 1921, in the town of Loyal, to Jacob and Marie (Pasquir) Abbuhl. She attended Cole School in the town of Sherman. On Oct. 30, 1939, Vivian Leona Abbuhl married Donald J. Olson in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death Sept. 27, 2001.
The couple lived in the Milwaukee area for several years prior to moving to Marshfield. Vivian was a homemaker and worked seasonally at Figi's for more than 10 years.
Mrs. Olson was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was proficient in and enjoyed embroidery. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Joan (Wayne) Gower, Marshfield, five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Vivian's parents, husband, one son, Clifford in 1995, one brother and six sisters preceded her in death.
