A NARROW ESCAPE
While driving into town last Wednesday afternoon R. A. Tischendorf and three-year old son Lloyd, and Wm. Tischendorf came very near having what might have been a serious accident. While turning the corner at the Garbisch place a bolt holding the shafts to the axle dropped out and in doing so the buggy swung around hitting the horse, who, becoming frightened started down toward Main street, and in front of Genrich’s blacksmith shop the buggy hit the curbing throwing the occupants out. R. A. Tischendorf was painfully injured on the left leg, while the little fellow escaped with but a few bruises about the face. William was unhurt.
