Schneider, Michael (29 Sept. 1850 - 25 Jan. 1946)

Michael Schneider, a resident of Abbotsford the past five years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Bremer, at the age of 95 years, Friday, Jan. 25th, old age complications being the cause of his death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Lutheran church at Dorchester, Wis., Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating, and internment was made in the Memorial cemetery at Dorchester, Wisconsin.

The deceased was born in Rodan, Poland, on September 29, 1850, and came to the United States in August, 1893, and settled in Gillett. In October, 1902, he moved to a farm a mile east and two miles north of Dorchester and later moved to another place south of Dorchester, Wisconsin. Five years ago, he and his wife moved to Abbotsford to live with their daughter.

Surviving are his wife, a son, William Schneider of Medford, a daughter, Mrs. John Bremer of Abbotsford, ten grand children, twelve great grand children and four great great grand children.
