Hainzlsperger, Joseph (12 Feb. 1859 - 11 Feb. 1946)
Joseph Hainzlsperger, died Monday morning, Feb. 11, at 4:00 A.M., at the age of 87 years, old age complications being the cause of his death. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Rev. N. B. Beschta officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Frank Allar, Frank Sterzinger, Wm. Krueger, George Allar, Elmer Biersack, Florian Hainzlsperger.
The deceased was born in Germany on Feb. 12, 1859, where he married Theresa Hochel on May 24, 1882. They came to the United States in March, 1891, and lived in Dodge county until 1899 when they moved to the town of Hull and engaged in farming. They retired from the farm in 1920 and moved to the city of Colby, Wisconsin.
Surviving children are Mrs. Geo. Sterzinger, Mrs. Lawrence Noll, Mrs. John Allar, and Felix Hainzlsperger, all of Colby; Mrs. William Krieger, Mrs. Mary Biersack, Mrs. Henry Koening and Mrs. Alvin Kern, all of Milwaukee; Otto Hainzlsperger of Neillsville and John Hainzlsperger of Unity. Also 41 grand children and 55 great grand children.
Out of town relatives here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Thiel of Oakfield, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thompson of Oakfield, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Ward of Mayville, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Allar and daughter of Fond du Lac, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Biersack of Milwaukee, Elmer Biersack and Junior Richard of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Krieger and sons of Milwaukee, Mrs. Henry Koenig of Milwaukee, Mrs. Alvin Kern of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Blazel of Dorchester, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hainzlsperger and children of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Art Sterzinger of Wausau.
