Hein, Leon (11 Apr. 1893 - 4 Oct. 1946)
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon for Leon Hein, age 53, who lived two and one-half miles west of Spencer and who died Friday afternoon at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks. Burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery following service at the Swarthout Funeral Home at Spencer, Wis.
Mr. Hein was born at Symbo, Waupaca county, on April 11, 1893. He was married on May 22, 1920, to Grace Turville at Spencer by the Rev. H. J. Fleming. He farmed at Spencer for 34 years.
Surviving besides his wife are a son, LaVern, at home, two daughters, Mrs. Maynard Seefeldt of Loyal and Gloria, at home. Also two grand children, a brother and three sisters - George Hein of Spencer, Mrs. Clara Baron, Mrs. George Sumper and Mrs. Clarence Miller, all of St. Paul.
