Brooks, Raymond (1927? - 23 Nov. 1946)
Raymond Brooks, 19, town of Norrie, Marathon county, was killed instantly Saturday morning at 2 o’clock when the car he was driving tipped over in a ditch in the town of Norrie three-quarters of a mile from his home. Brooks fell out of the car as it careened and the car fell on him.
He and his passenger, Arnold Fandry, were driving to the latter’s home in the town of Norrie to spend the night prior to starting on a deer hunting trip Saturday morning. Fandry was uninjured.
